Coach Carter - 2005

This is the true story of coach Ken Carter who famously stopped his team from practicing basketball until they had got their grades up. They cast Samuel L Jackson in this film version and he does a brilliant job of acting the part (as he usually does), I really enjoyed this film even if as a sports film it was as always predictable. It can take a while to get into but few will dislike this film, the motion picture treament definately does the story justice!
