About Us
Talote has been around since 1999 when it was just a schoolboys dream. Back then it wasn't even a film company but was instead a racing team. Times have changed and dreams have been altered but the wish to succeed still remains in this company. In 2004 Talote merged with The Shiny Shop to sell technical equipment on Ebay and on a more personal level. This did not work out for reasons that will not be explained and then founder Jonathan Little went off to study film at Roehampton University. Also in 2004 Jonathan and Patrick Hill got to know two filmmakers in Holland called Michel Buying and Florian Simmons who run their own film company. Contact has been kept between the four of them for the last few years and a collaboration is on the cards. Their film company Buying and Simons Film Producties released in February 2007 the film Wraak Van Draak or Revenge of Draco in English and Talote hope to release it in the UK in late 2007.
Whilst at University Jonathan Little has met a number of promising students few more so that Walter Talens who was on an exchange programme from San Francisco for Autumn 2006. Walter plans to start his own film company when he leaves university as well, his under the name SFour Productions. Talote fully support and hope for the best from this group and hope to be involved with them in the future. With Jonathan Little graduating in August 2008 the future of Talote is looking all the more exciting as they aim to break into the industry. Both Jonathan Little and Patrick Hill are working on original low budget ideas that can see Talote break into the mainstream and both are committed to seeing it work. This site serves as the first step for Talote, it is both a community and a portfolio for work. The site contains ideas, screenplays and short films and while some may only be available to paying members we invite you to join us in bringing about a bright future for two guys dreams.
